A theme park operator has been fined after nine passengers were injured and taken to hospital when a train on one of their roller coasters derailed and crashed to the ground.

A company has been fined £400,000 after an employee was killed by an overhead power line strike.

 

Foundry prosecuted after worker severely injured by bench drill

A Norfolk-based foundry has been sentenced after a part-time machinist suffered life-changing injuries while drilling holes into aluminium castings.

Annual Science Review launched

This year's review focuses on the science, engineering and analysis that supports HSE's role as a regulator.

 

The review also looks at the engineering and analysis work used in supporting our policy and regulatory activities, as well as showing how we have supported other parts of Government and commercial clients.
