Assess repetitive tasks to avoid upper limb disorders

dse

Upper limb disorders (ULDs) affect the neck and the arms, from fingers to shoulder.

ULDs are common in the workplace and can result from tasks as varied as the use of display screen equipment (DSE), to work using vibrating tools.

HSE's Assessment of Repetitive Tasks (ART) tool is designed to help assess repetitive tasks involving the upper limbs and is available as a free download here

On 17 July in Buxton we have a training course called Upper Limb Disorders: Risk Assessment of Repetitive Tasks, which will equip you with the knowledge to use the ART tool to help recognise, assess, and reduce upper limb disorder risks in your organisation.
