Machinery Risk Assessment

Machinery Risk Assessment Essentials

Tuesday 25 June 2019, Buxton

The ability to carry out a detailed machinery risk assessment is  required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regs and - explicitly - by the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regs 2008.

Yet many people still struggle to know what is suitable and sufficient to satisfy these regulations.

This training course gives you practical hands-on experience of conducting a machinery risk assessment using structured techniques to clarify the process given in BS EN ISO 12100: 2010.

It is aimed primarily at machinery users, maintenance engineers, designers and project engineers who need to learn how to carry out risk assessment of new or existing machinery in use.

Machinery Directive training from HSE

Machinery Series: Machinery Directive

Wednesday 26 June 2019, Buxton

Building a technical file, assessing conformity to health and safety requirements, the purpose and content of a declaration of conformity and incorporation, and risk assessment are all explained.

This course is aimed at those who design and supply machines, specify and install them or create assemblies of machines. It's also relevant to anyone who significantly modifies existing machines.
