Procedures can only achieve this if they are well designed and people follow them; this is especially important when operating in safety critical environments. On Wednesday 24 July HSE is running a new one-day course, 'Developing Effective Procedures' at its Science and Research Centre in Buxton, Derbyshire. Focusing on safety critical activities and major accident hazards, you'll learn how to develop effective procedures, assess and improve existing ones, and achieve compliance with them.
The course is aimed at managers, supervisors and technicians responsible for developing and using procedures in various scenarios, and anyone required to follow safety-critical procedures.
