Machinery Safety: Designing and Specifying Safety Related Control Systems Thursday 08 August 2019, Buxton Control systems for machinery, whether electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic are often needed to perform safety-related functions. Learn how to specify and design safety related control circuits which comply with the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations. This course explains how regulations and standards are applied to real-life situations, using examples of how to and how not to do it. It also provides methods and templates to aid compliance with the relevant requirements. The course is aimed at electrical, control and project engineers who specify control systems on customized machinery/assemblies or those who modify control systems on existing machinery.
