Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) include injuries and conditions that can affect the back, joints and limbs. These can reduce a person's quality of life and can be developed, or made worse, through work. Employers have a legal duty to manage the risk of MSDs in the workplace. HSE offers two courses designed to equip employers and employee representatives with the knowledge to help recognise, assess and reduce MSD risks in their organisations.
