Prepare for a visit by viewing our free guidance on using the right controls for specific construction tasks.

Employers can find out how to prevent or control the risks from construction dust by downloading our free leaflet.

Workers can support our campaign by getting involved and downloading #Dustbuster resources.

Control the risks from exposure to legionella

legionella

Understand what your duties are and how to comply with health and safety law.

Any water system, with the right environmental conditions, could be a source for legionella bacteria growth.

If you're an employer, or someone in control of premises (such as a landlord), you have a duty to understand and manage legionella risks. Find out what you need to do.

Our leaflet Legionnaire's disease: A brief guide for duty holders is free to download and provides further information on the health risks associated with legionella and the water systems where it may be found.
