Annual figures on work-related fatalities

Between April 2018 and March 2019, 147 people were killed in Great Britain while doing their job.

 

Falls from height were the main kind of fatal accident, with 40 deaths last year. Visit our work at height guidance on assessing risk and protecting your employees.
